Does Warcraft III Support Widescreen Resolutions?

Unfortunately, by default, Warcraft III does not support widescreen resolutions. However, we can force the game to run at a custom resolution with an easy registry hack. Unfortunately the game may look somewhat stretched, but that's the best we can do.

Click Here to download some pre-configured registry files. Simply unzip the file, and then double click the one that has the resolution you want. You will be prompted "are you sure you want to add this to the registry", click yes. That's it. Just startup the game and enjoy your new resolution.

Please make sure the resolution you choose is actually supported by your monitor! I have also included a registry file for 1024x768, just in case you choose something you shouldn't have.

Also note: If you go into the display settings, the game will NOT display your custom resolution. So don't be suprised when it says 800x600 (or something).
